The annual Blue/White preseason event officially has a date for fans to attend. This morning, UK Athletics announced that the event will take place on Friday, October the 18th. This will come one week after Kentucky’s Big Blue Madness.
This year’s events will likely look a bit different since there is a new coaching staffs, new rosters, etc. Over the past few years, the Wildcats have took this event on the road. They have visited northern Kentucky as well as eastern Kentucky in Pikeville.
However, this season the Blue/White event will be held in Lexington. It will take place inside Memorial Coliseum which has gotten a $80 million dollar face lift this summer. This will be a great way for the University of Kentucky to showcase the newly renovated arena for the women’s basketball team.
Not only that, but proceeds made from this event will go directly back to the players. This will be done through Club Blue which is a proud NIL partner through the University of Kentucky.
An official start time has not been released yet, but I would guess around 6:00 P.M. EST. However, once we learn of the time we will be sure to update you when it comes available.
