Kentucky Football will be rolling out the red, I mean blue, carpet for a couple of big-time prospects in the class of 2026 this weekend. The 2025 recruiting class isn’t even finalized and the coaching staff remain determined to lock-up some talented players for the future of Kentucky.

This isn’t anything abnormal as recruits are usually invited to attend game day atmospheres, but this weekend’s game just might be a little bit more exciting than some as the Wildcats play host to South Carolina. This gives recruits an idea of what they can expect on game days if they choose to come play for the University of Kentucky. The environment will be rockin’ for this matchup as the two programs have been trading wins over the last few seasons.

The two recruits that the football program will be hosting are Kaden Gebhardt and Jaydin Broadnax.

Kaden Gebhardt is a 6’2” 195-pound safety/athlete out of Lewis Center, Ohio. Gebhardt is in his junior season at Olentangy High School. Here are some highlights from his sophomore season.

Gebhardt has several Division-1 offers from some big-time schools such as Cincinnati, Duke, Illinois, Louisville, Michigan State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Penn State, Purdue, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. I spoke with Gebhardt about his upcoming visit with Kentucky and he said he is looking forward to seeing the game day environment at Kentucky and is hoping to get an official offer while on his visit. Both Vince Marrow and Frank Buffano have been in contact with Gebhardt.

Jaydin Broadnax is a 6’3” 180-pound defensive back from west Boca Raton, Florida. Broadnax is in his junior season with West Boca Raton High School. Here are some highlights from Broadnax’s sophomore season.

Broadnax also has several Division-1 offers from schools such as Auburn, Boston College, Florida, Florida State, Illinois, Iowa, Louisville, Marshall, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, UCF, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, WKU, and Wisconsin.

Both Kaden Gebhardt and Jaydin Broadnax are listed as ESPN top-300 prospects so both would be huge additions for the 2026 class if they were to commit to Kentucky down the road.
