We’re hitting the ground running hard for week two and we’re looking to make some money. Last week’s bet got voided (refunded) due to the weirdness of the game, but we’re on to the next opponent now and I’ve got a safe bet for you to run with.
Kentucky hosts South Carolina — a team they have a two-game losing streak to — with revenge to get. The Wildcats looked solid in their first game while the Gamecocks looked… otherwise. They barely escaped a home game over Old Dominion and Kentucky put up 31 points next to their opponent’s zero in under three quarters of play. I think all of that carries over into this one and the Wildcats walk away with the win again.
That leads me right into my bet.

I did a Same Game Parlay on the Kentucky Moneyline paired with an Anytime Touchdown Scorer for Barion Brown. That bet put out a +174, which I feel really great about. That kind of odd is a more relaxed type of bet, something that’s supposed to happen. But as you know from last week, I like to do more “safe bets” and then just put a higher amount on it for a better return. So, little risk but fronting up a good amount from the beginning.
Consistent wins instead of high risk high reward. We’re here to make money, not win the lottery with crazy odds.
If you want to be a little less risky, you can change the touchdown scorer from Barion Brown to Demie Sumo-Karngbaye but the odds will drop to -110. Take just a little more risk with Barion Brown — which to me doesn’t even feel like much of a risk to be honest — and you give yourself a way better chance on the return.

With that being said, never bet any money that you aren’t fine with losing every bit of. Gambling is a hobby, it shouldn’t be your lifestyle nor fund your lifestyle. This is for entertainment and you need to be okay with losing all that you put in if that was to ever happen. No bet is guaranteed to be a winner.
Follow me on X to keep up with my bets each week and to also keep up with my thoughts in real time during the actual game.
In case you missed it, here’s a flashback to week 1 below.
