The Kentucky football program is off to a 1-1 start to the 2024 season before they play host to No. 1 ranked Georgia next Saturday, with an absolute dumpster-fire of a performance in the conference opener.
They would finish the game with a 25-point loss to the Gamecocks, 31-6.
For anyone interested, here are the final Kentucky stats.

The offense was essentially non-existent and their stats look horrific, but here they are too.

There is a lot to reflect on after this performance. Many have the right to argue (many already are) that this was one of the worst performances within the last six seasons under Mark Stoops. The program took a major step back today in my opinion.
Mark Stoops was extremely deflated afterwards as well, saying that there was “no way to sugar coat” a loss like this, that Kentucky simply got their “butt beat”. His own words. He was not happy at all and says they need to get back to work this week to correct these mistake.
Try your best to enjoy the rest of your weekend and not drown in this loss like we all want to. It’s not worth it. It might be a long season.
