After Kentucky’s impressive win over Duke last Tuesday night, one might have had some concerns about a let down game against their next opponent. The program has had their share of “let down” games in previous years after a big time victory, but tonight’s matchup against the Lipscomb Bisons was definitely not the case.
Kentucky had the lead from early in the first half and never really looked back. The first half would seemingly fly by with ease, having the Wildcats head into the locker room with a lead of 43-26.
Three Wildcats played a big role in this seventeen point lead, with those being Jaxson Robinson (13), Lamont Butler with (9), and Otega Oweh with (7). Kentucky as a team was shooting 50% at halftime and 61.5% from beyond the three-point line.
A couple of factors for Lipscomb’s seventeen point halftime deficit was their 26% shooting percentage and being out-rebounded on the glass, 16 to 24.
The biggest contributors tonight overall were Jaxson Robinson with 20, Lamont Butler with 16, Otega Oweh with 14, and Koby Brea with 12. Amari Williams was also flirting with another double-double as he finished with nine points and eleven rebounds. These five Wildcats combined for 71 of Kentucky’s 97 points.
Here are the full stats from tonight’s win against Lipscomb.

Kentucky’s next game will be this coming Friday night, November 22nd, where they will once again be hosting inside Rupp Arena. They’ll face Jackson State and tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM with the broadcast to be on SEC Network+/ESPN+.
