Final Stats From The Eastern Illinois Win

Kentucky got back in the win column tonight after losing to Louisville for the first time since 2020 this past Tuesday night, winning tonight’s home matchup over Eastern Illinois. The final score would be chalked up at 99-53, with Kentucky owning the lead the entirety of the game and covering the spread.

With tonight’s win, the Wildcats move to 3-1 overall and undefeated at home. It was a great Friday night crowd on a surprisingly warm night in downtown Lexington, earning a victory on one of the easier teams from your schedule.

Here are the final stats from the win.

Mo Dioubate would lead the home team on the scoreboard, finishing with 20 points. Denzel Aberdeen would be right behind him in the stat sheet with 13 total points.

As a team, Kentucky shot 60.9% from the field and 36.0% from the three. Five guys would reach double-figures and 5 guys would sink in a three-pointer.

Trent Noah would make his return, recording a stat line of 8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block in 21 minutes of play. Jaland Lowe was sidelined with Jayden Quaintance in injury, as expected.

Up next for Kentucky? Back on the road as they’ll head up north to Madison Square Garden for the Champions Classic event where they will take on current 17th ranked Michigan State and Tom Izzo. That game will tipoff at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, November 18th, an event that Kentucky lost last year to Ohio State. That game was arguably the worst game of the season, so we’re all hoping it goes a little different this round.
