Selection Sunday is here and we have some breaking news for you. After finishing the season at 21-13 overall and finishing in the SEC Tournament Quarterfinals, Kentucky has been given a 7-seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament.

Just announced on CBS, Kentucky will face 10-seeded Santa Clara in the Midwest Region of the bracket. The number one overall seed for this section of the bracket is the Michigan Wolverines who finished the year at 31-3 overall.

Kentucky will play their first round matchup in St. Louis, Missouri, on Friday, March 20th. The time has not yet been announced.
