Welcome to mid June. The time where Kentucky’s new basketball team arrives on campus and the new faces get to know each other as they start the journey of getting to Detroit — where the Final Four is held at in 2027.
Kentucky has replaced 9 scholarship players from last year’s season, bringing in a whole new wave of new Wildcats, a tradition that BBN is very familiar with. They returned Malachi Moreno, Kam Williams, Trent Noah, Reece Potter, and Braydon Hawthorne from last year’s team, while adding Milan Momcilovic, Jerone Morton, Zoom Diallo, Alex Wilkins, Mason Williams, Zyon Hawthorne, Franck Kepnang, Ousmane N’Diaye, and Justin McBride to this year’s team.
The entire men’s basketball team is now officially on campus and will be staying in the Lodge this year just like the old days when it used to be a requirement for each team. While they didn’t have to do it the last two seasons, the staff has decided with this team that it would be best for them to go back to that plan this year.
The team’s official social media account has been releasing small clips from the summer practices that have gotten the internet fans raving, endlessly, over them. I’ll share them below.
