Will Stein found himself with a top-10 road win in just his first road game of his head coaching career, winning inside Kyle Field — the largest stadium in the SEC — 31-22 over the 9th ranked Aggies this past weekend.
It immediately set the tone for what’s to be expected by Kentucky’s new head football coach, doing this after just leading at halftime over 12th ranked Alabama the weekend before, saying in his Texas A&M post game television interview that “This is how Kentucky Football is supposed to look.”
The national media quickly took notice and it was the talk of college football, just shortly behind the LSU-Ole Miss action that took place just hours after. If not for that, the entire sport would have been focused-in on Kentucky Football. How nuts… Or, “How freaking cool,” to quote Will Stein himself.
Will decided to call-in to ESPN Radio to talk to Matt Jones and Myron Medcalf on ‘Matt & Myron’ this Monday. You can watch the entire interview below.
