The roller coaster of a ride that is the college football offseason has unfortunately begun for Kentucky. With the disappointing 4-8 season coming to a close with a 41-14 loss against in-state rival Louisville, the program movement comes quick.

This post will be your go-to location for any updates regarding any offseason changes. This will include any decommitments, flipped commitments, confirmed recruits for next year’s class, and even coaching changes if those arrive.

Coaching Changes

Daikiel Shorts Jr. – Shorts’ time in Lexington has come to an end. He will be a one-and-done after his first season under head coach Mark Stoops.

Daikiel was the Wide Receivers Coach for the University of Kentucky and the former West Virgina wideout has made the decision to leave for the same position, but at Nebraska, to work for his former boss, Dana Holgorsen, who is the new Offensive Coordinator at Nebraska. This will be a difficult position to fill as Shorts is one of the youngest up-and-coming coaches in America.

Decommitments

Marquise Davis – Once committed to Kentucky, he decided to flip his commitment to Missouri right before NSD. Would have been one of the highest rated recruits of all-time under the current coaching staff.

Tucker Kattus – Once committed to Kentucky, flipped his commitment to Clemson before NSD. Is the younger brother of current Wildcat Josh Kattus.
