Game Day Timeline At Ole Miss

I haven’t gotten a good gauge just yet on how many Kentucky fans are making the trip to Ole Miss this weekend, but if you’re one of them, we’ve got you covered. Times, locations, all that, let’s discuss.

Reminder that Oxford, Mississippi is on central time, so all of these times listed below are already configured into their time zone. No need to change it, we’ve done that already.

Arrive: 6:49 AM

The sun rises at 6:49 AM and the game has a very early start, so since you’ve made the trip and are wanting to make the most of it, arrive as early as possible to get yourself prepared and ready for the game. The tailgate scene will be ridiculous and I hope you enjoy every bit of it.

“The Grove” has a very high standard for its tailgates and I bet it will be in fine tune for its first SEC game of the season.

Cat Walk: 8:45 AM at Gate 19

You’re far from home most likely, so this team getting to see you dressed up in blue and there to support will be great for their confidence levels as they head into the stadium. The Cat Walk is always a good time, so I recommend getting there for it when it starts. It’ll be at the visiting team’s entrance located at Gate 19.

Kickoff: 11:00 AM at Vaught Hemingway Stadium

While this starts at 12:00 PM eastern time in Kentucky, it will be in Mississippi which is in the central time zone, making it start at 11:00 AM local time. If you mess this one up you’ll be missing the first hour of the game so it’s really important you get this one right. Be loud, wear blue, cheer on the ‘Cats!

Post Game: Roughly 1 hour after the game

Immediately after the game, we at Cats Coverage will be heading to the post game press conference to speak with Mark Stoops and the other coaches, including the players that they bring out for questions. We’ll have some of our work up on our website and also the video from the interviews on our YouTube channel as quickly as possibly, so please check those out and your support is greatly appreciated!
