
The Cats traveled all the way to New York City to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in the CBS Sports Classic, which would result in a 20-point loss, 85-65.
The first half would be a tough one to watch, with Kentucky missing 15 of their 23 shots and 9 of their 11 three-pointers. With just a 9 point effort from Andrew Carr, Kentucky would enter halftime trailing by nine, 39-30.
Kentucky would enter the contest 0-2 versus the Buckeyes in this event, worsening to 0-3 after the game. They now fall to 5-6 overall in the CBS Sports Classic with tonight’s loss.
The second half wouldn’t be much different with the Cats only scoring 35 points, struggling to get remotely close to inside the rim of the basket.
The final score would come with a Buckeyes’ win, owning the game from very early. Here are the final stats.

Otega Oweh would lead Kentucky with 21 points, followed behind with 13 points from Andrew Carr and 10 points from Jaxson Robinson. As a team, Kentucky shot an embarrassing 29.8% from the field and 18.2% from the three.
Ohio State was led by Bruce Thornton with 30 points. Former Wildcat Aaron Bradshaw totaled in 11 points on 5/6 shooting during his matchup against his former team.
